JOB DESCRIPTION / PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

The Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures relating to food quality, food safety, cleanliness and customer service.

Main Responsibilities

1. Customer ServiceProvide exceptional customer service.
2. Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
3. Handle all customer complaints with courtesy and respect.
4. Follow hospitality standards when interacting with customers.
5. Ensure customers are served promptly and professionally.
6. Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude.
7. Food Preparation and QualityPrepare food products according to established procedures.
8. Ensure the highest quality products are served to customers.
9. Follow product preparation and handling procedures.
10. Reduce product waste and ensure product availability.
11. Follow FIFO procedures where applicable.
12. Use proper portioning and preparation techniques.
13. Food Safety and HygieneFollow all food-safety procedures.
14. Maintain proper food-handling practices.
15. Ensure safe working practices are followed.
16. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
17. Wear the correct uniform and maintain proper grooming standards.
18. Ensure all work areas remain clean and sanitary.
19. EquipmentOperate equipment properly and safely.
20. Equipment may include fryers, pressure cookers, food choppers, timers and other restaurant equipment.
21. Report equipment problems or damage immediately.
22. Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage to company property.
23. Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained according to procedures.
24. Work AreaKeep work areas clean and organized.
25. Follow proper cleaning procedures.
26. Ensure all areas are maintained according to food-safety standards.
27. Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
28. Uniform and AppearanceAlways wear the approved company uniform.
29. Uniforms must be clean and properly maintained.
30. Maintain appropriate personal grooming and hygiene standards.
31. Uniforms must not be worn outside the workplace where prohibited.
32. Professional ConductTreat customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect.

34. Maintain professionalism at all times.
35. Always report to work on time.

37. Employees must be prepared to work assigned shifts, including extended periods where required.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Level education or equivalent.
2. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
4. Ability to work extended hours when required.
5. Customer-focused attitude.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
7. Must demonstrate a high level of responsibility and reliability.
8. Previous experience in a customer-service environment would be an asset.

The Team Member may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. The specific duties of the position may change depending on business needs, staffing requirements and operational demands.
